Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical college and research Centre is a self financing institution, Recognized by CCIM Approval by (DEPARTMENT OF AYUSH), Ministry of Health and Family welfare Govt. of India The Ayurvedic College was established to engage in the practice and propagation of Ayurveda, one of the oldest health care systems of India. Ayurveda, involves the use of natural ways of healing to propagate healthy balanced life.
The college is backed by state of the art facilities, including a hospital, which offers treatments at the minimum costs. The college has initiated to make cost effective and healthy alternative ayurveda medicine for all. The college provides excellent research facilities and training with a herbal garden for the purpose. The college aims to promote Ayurveda at a global level.
Ashwini Medical College is situated in Tumkur District. The college is situated in a campus of 10 acres with serene atmosphere. The college has sophisticated Class Rooms, Laboratories highly qualified and talented staff and Excellent Hostel & Mess Facility. The College has well equipped laboratory with modern equipments.
The college has well equipped library with good collection of latest edition of medical, para-medical and general books. Library has got book section cum main reading section. Herbal garden has got all varieties of medicinal plants. Rare herbs are cultivated, grown and utilized in the preparation of herbal medicines for the study purpose.
A well designed auditorium is constructed for conducting seminars, guest lecturers and other extracurricular activities. The college campus consists of well designed hostel for girls with common dining hall food and efficient hygienic mess.
Excellent clinical facilities will help students to get training is both ayurvedic and allopathic Field. During training period, students are assigned hospital duties for their clinical experience in different departments. The hospital has got OPD of all disciplines of Ayurveda and modern medicine, Operation Theatre, X-Ray, Laboratory scanning, Special and deluxe wards, Labor Theatre & Panchakarna unit. Hospital will help in training the students.
