Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the prescribed Qualifying Examinations (PG-CET) with not less than 45% of the marks in aggregrate of all the semesters/years of the degree examination (Cumulative sum of the secured marks of all the semesters/years divided by the sum of the maximum marks). However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and CAT-1, marks shall not be less than 40%.

Admission Guidelines

The admissions are through central counseling on the basis of merit in PGCET/GATE. A few seats are also available under sponsored and Management quota

Structural engineering is a field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads. Structural engineering is usually considered a specialty within civil engineering, but it can also be studied in its own right. Structural engineers are most commonly involved in the design of buildings and large non-building structures but they can also be involved in the design of machinery, medical equipment, vehicles or any item where structural integrity affects the item's function or safety.
