Vagdevi College of Nursing Bangalore was established in 2002 and the institution is recognized by the Government of Karnataka, Indian Nursing Council, Karnataka Nursing Council, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and KSDNEB. The institution provides resources essential to learning and maintaining a quality program. Well, Educated and experienced Faculty are the foundation of Vagdevi College of Nursing. The college has well equipped laboratories. The libraries with Helinet facility are the pillars of our Nursing education.
Vagdevi Nursing Learning Laboratories consist of a Fundamental Lab, Community Lab, OBG Lab & Pediatrics Lab to provide students with a variety of opportunities to gain experience and confidence in performing a wide variety of practice in nursing technologies. Clinical facilities will be made available for our students in several affiliated hospitals like K.C. General Hospital, Victoria Hospital, Jaydeva Institute of Cardiology, Institute of Nephro – Urology, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, etc. The institution's extensive library service together with systematic use of audio-visual aids are available to help the students in their learning process. The library is provided with professional and non-professional books, journals, periodicals, newspapers etc. which give thrust and knowledge to betterment of studies. A large number of national and international journals and magazines are subscribed. The college has a high-tech digital library with helinet facility for student’s academic references.
All admitted candidates are requested to stay in the hostel provided by the institution. Separate hostel for male and female students are arranged with adequate facilities. Both North and South food items are available for the students. Every year we used to conduct curricular and extracurricular activities like Samarpana–Lamp lighting ceremony of newly admitted students. The
