Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital Bangalore came into existence in the year 2003 as a constituent of Sushrutha Group of Institutions which runs under Yadalam Trust. This college located in Bangalore, Karnataka situated in the centre of city helps in getting affiliated to different hospitals that are specialties in various domains. This college has all the effective teaching staffs required in ayurveda. Staffs in this college have minimum Postgraduate degrees from top National institutes and are having PhD degree too. Staff with well experienced Post Graduate degree holder from identical subject is heading the respective departments. A separate department exists which addresses the difficulty of education, propagation of ayurveda and yoga. This department has conducted many workshops on ayurveda and yoga in countries like Germany, Spain, & Austria.

Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital Bangalore is linked to many multispecialty hospitals like Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Jayanagar General Hospital, Padmashree diagnostics & more other hospitals, for the practical clinical exposure of the students. The college has good well equipped labs for practicals in all the departments. It uses new technology equipments like LCD & OHP projectors that are used almost in all classrooms which help in better understanding & learning of subjects. The college conducts free Medical Camps around the year.

This college is associated with many pharmaceutical companies (which are, certified GMP companies) like Pradhan Herbals and cosmetics, Vedic Bio Labs, which manufacture more than 50 Ayurvedic products for local market as well as export them. By this the students get exposed to latest in herbal drug manufacturing process. The college has a fully fledged library with latest editions of books, journals, on Medical Sciences & ayurveda. In Digital Library all students & lecturers are provided with broadband net. The Campus also has auditorium and reading room.

Here all the students (Boys and Girls) are provided hostel facilities inside the campus limits.
