Course Details

The M.Tech in Transportation engineering and management has been introduced and the rapid changes have been appeared in the design and construction of roads. The recent awareness felt that the Traffic Management and transportation needs a scientific approach to minimize the time and cost of the transportation. This course deals with the management and engineering aspects of transportation system focusing on road transportation. This course covers the subjects such as Transportation and Land Use Planning,Traffic Engineering, Pavement Design, Management Economics and Financial & Personnel Management. Hands on training and some theoretical knowledge about IT are provided in this course.
