Course Details

The computer science & engineering department was started in the year 1986, with 60 students of input offering bachelor engineering degree under Bangalore University. Since from its establishment, the department has grown up steadily, the department provides three autonomous programs under VTU. The department has research center recognized by VTU, which was established in the year 2003. In the research center, 21 students are working to get their doctoral degree and 5 are awarded Ph.D. The department has dynamic, highly qualified and well-experienced faculties, who are specialists in latest areas of computer science which includes Wireless Network Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Computer Networks, and so on. Faculty members of this department participate in various Seminars and workshops to keep themselves updated with advanced technologies. Faculty members are also involved in joint research projects with research organizations and industries, till now 8 patents are filled with the project works. The department labs are well-equipped with advanced computer systems.
