Candidate must have obtained a B.Tech/B.E. degree with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate in relevant branch from a recognized institute and must have a valid score in GATE/PGCET

Course Details
The Department of Telecommunication Engineering started PG Program M.Tech in “RF and Microwave Engineering”, in the year 2013. This program is aimed to provide the students with a wide variety of opportunities, both in the Industry as well as in the R & D fields. The curriculum is designed to make the students excel in areas of Advanced modulation techniques, MMIC design, Analytical and Computational techniques, wireless Communications, Microwave and Antenna designs. To build on these strong base students can specialize by choosing electives like Tracking and Navigation Systems, Statistical Signal Processing, MEMS for Wireless Communication, satellite communication, Optical Communications & Networking. Students also get an opportunity to do projects in industry based laboratory set up
