Candidate must have obtained a B.Tech/B.E. degree with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate in relevant branch from a recognized institute and must have a valid score in GATE/PGCET

Course Details

M.Tech in Highway technology is a full time program with well established infrastructure and state of the art Highway Technology laboratory facilities. Students get opportunities for participating in interdisciplinary R&D, consultancy and entrepreneurial activities. The establishment of Highway Technology laboratory has enabled students to work on pavement design and testing, Pavement Evaluation, Traffic Engineering and Geometric Design of Highways. Students get hands on experience with modern engineering tools and software like Mx Roads. The Program offers the privilege to pursue internship in various aspects of analysis and Design, economic, environmental, aesthetic and social aspects of civil engineering infrastructure/highways with well known industries such as L&T Infra, Feedback Infrastructures etc. Students get placement in various public, private and Educational sectors. Core and Elective courses offered are on par with industry requirements.
