About College
PESIT South Campus formerly called as the PES School of Engineering or PESSE. PESIT South Campus is a private co-educational engineering managed by People’s Education Society (PES). It was established in 2005. PESIT South Campus is affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. The college is also accredited by AICTE, Delhi. PESIT South Campus is located on Hosur Road, Bangalore. PESIT South Campus mission is to provide students with a sense of history, an understanding of values and ethics, a commitment to law and morality, an appreciation of human creativity and an analytical inquiring mind.
The College vision is to create professionally superior and ethically strong global manpower. The institute quality policy is to develop highly skilled human resources with the ability to adapt to an intellectually and technologically changing environment with the participative efforts of the management, staff, students and parents. The College placement cell ensures that all the eligible candidates get placed in companies. The training for the students starts from second semester. They help students to improve in their inter personal skills, goal setting, communication, conducting group discussions, mock interviews etc.
The College provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The college library has a huge collection of books, national and international journals. The college library also gets access to the resources from reputed institutes. Students can experience a lot of eateries within the campus which includes a coffee day express, a Nescafe, two canteens and three hostel messes.
The college records 100% placements for all branches. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Yahoo and Amazon chooses students from the CS & IS branches. The main recruiters for all branches are HCL, TCS and Wipro. The college has very good tempo with companies like HCL. Companies like HCL will not carry out interview process and the students are directly recruited based on their aggregate percentage. Average salary to freshers is 4.5 lakhs whereas the very best package offered was 16 lakhs. Some forty – forty five students get packages higher than ten lakhs.
