Course Details

From the past 14 years, the Department of ISE takes honor by producing highly qualified engineers. All credit goes to the highly motivating staff by whom the students get inspired. In the year 2000, the department was started. It got its own name and a premise in the year 2006 before it is only a part of the CSE department, it is centrally located in the college. At present, a number of student input is 30. Due to its achievements and rigorousness the course has become popular among students. The department has computer labs with higher-end systems and well-furnished classrooms. The major credential of the department is its research centre. The first PhD student of this college is produced by this department. Aseparate Wi-Fi facility is given by the department, which is itsnotable feature. Many of the Faculty members are involved in research activities in various fields such as Pattern Recognition,Data Mining,and Medical Image Processing etc. The department is equipped with all the required infrastructure framework, labs, departmental library, and class rooms. Outcome-based education (OBE) is adapted in the department, to produce high quality engineers. The department is affiliated to VTU. The students of this department are placed in many noted IT companies, department conducts many national /International Conferences,workshops, and other short-term courses, National level seminars. Every year a cricket tournament is conducted by the department under the name “IT-CUP”. Computer centre of this department has a good collection of software /hardware and provides the necessary infrastructure for teaching and research. The laboratory facilities and the Internet access are available round the clock to the staff and students of the Information Science and Engineering.
