Eligibility Criteria

Admission shall be open to the candidates who have passed prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of degree examination and the should have qualified in GATE.

Admission Guidelines

Admission is on the basis of rank obtained in GATE and AIT admits students as per prevailing rules and regulations of VTU.

Course Details

In 1998, this course was started and currently has 25 intake seats. Having signed a MoU with Infosys' Campus Connect Programme, the department's faculty is continuously updating students with new trends in the IT industry. Under Washington Accord, the department is applying for Tier-II NBA accreditation for the third time. During 2004 and 2008, our department got accreditation from NBA for 3 years each time. Department has well-established research center, state-of-the-art laboratories.
