Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

This department was started in 2000 with 40 intake seats and also currently with 40 intake. Department has signed MoU's with various companies like Minds Solvit Pvt. Ltd., IT Park, Gulbarga, Global Edge Technologies, Bangalore etc. It is mandatory to undergo a training of 100 hours in soft skills, spoken and written English, and other personality development activities. In 2007, both UGC and VTU have recognised and declared the department as autonomous status. This fast growing department has highly-skilled faculty of 6 professors and assistant professors.
