Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

This department was established in 1984. PDACE's Computer Science Department achieved phenomenal growth under the administration of heads of the department, Prof. P.R. Ainapur (1984-2002), Dr. Basawraj Amarapur (2002-2004), Dr. Rekha Patil (2004-2015), and now Dr. Suvarna Nandyal, who is an M. Tech and PhD scholar. Having recognised our faculty skills and strengths, Visvesvaraya Technological University sanctioned research center in our Computer Science Department in 2013. We, at PDACE, believe that all the computer science students should be aware of the new trends happening in the IT sector. With a clear plan ahead, the department recently signed an MOU with Infosys Campus Connect Programme.
