Eligibility Criteria

II-Year Pre-University or XII Std. or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics. Not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages.

Admission Guidelines

Generally, admission is done on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam (CET/COMED-K) for all the B.E./B.Arch. courses.

Course Details

This department was started in 1985 aiming to provide professions with strong fundamentals in automobile engineering. Currently, our Automobile Engineering Department has 9 teaching and 5 non-teaching staff with student intake of 40 seats. The department has well-established lab facilities like auto CADD centre, vehicle servicing lab, auto electrical lab and auto scanning and reconditioning lab. Modrobs and TEQIP are funding the Automobile Engineering department. Previous students of our department are coccupying high positions in reputed companies like Bajaj, Telco, Maruti Suzuki India, and other major companies' service centers. Our students also are getting recruited by other automotive industries, ancillary industries, steel industries, cement and ceramic industries and also in software industry.
