Eligibility Criteria

A 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science as optional subjects. English as one of the languages. Minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC, only from Karnataka state) from a recognized board. Valid rank in KCET/COMED-K/JEE Mains.

Course Details

This department was established in 2008 under the leadership of Sri S.R Reddy, Chairman of Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur. ECE department now has 60 intake seats. The department makes the students admissions in Government-aided stream through CET and also self-supporting stream. The department has well-established digital lab, communication lab (AC+LIC lab and advanced communication lab), analog electronic circuits/logic design lab, Microprocessor/DSP/VLSI lab, HDL lab, power electronics/micro controller lab. Students are made to participate enthusiastically in debates, curricular and co-curricular activities, group discussions, mock interviews, technical quizzes on a regular interval. Department has also started publishing a newsletter by name Genesis with 2 issues per semester to encourage students. Students actively participate in this newsletter and write technical articles.
