Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

This 3-year program in Kasturba Medical College and Hospital imparts graduates with in-depth knowledge in assessment of lung functions with pulmonary function tests, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, preoperative and postoperative lung function assessments along with other advanced topics in this stream of medical science. Students will get good ideology on different diagnostic procedures, symptomatology and physical examination including other advanced imaging and radiology techniques related to lung disease and their diagnosis. As a part of curriculum, students will be taught with the goals and objectives to recognize the importance of the Respiratory Medicine & Tuberculosis in the context of the health needs of the community and the national priorities sector.
