Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

Kasturba Medical College and Hospital offers a 3-year postgraduate degree in physiology. It is expected that skills to be obtained during the clinical postings are in medical wards, cardiology department, neurology department, chest medicine, medical gastroenterology, endocrinology, ENT, ICU, anatomy and other critical medical areas. This subclinical study is an integral part of anatomy which specifically deals with biochemical functions of vital organs in the cellular and molecular levels. The students are encouraged to take part in different workshops, seminars, journal clubs, and demonstration in the allied departments, to acquire various skills for collaborative research.
