Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.

Admission Guidelines

Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

This 3-year postgraduate course mainly deals with study and diagnosis of disease. This stream of medical science comes under basic sciences and also clinical sciences. We, at Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, educate medical professionals with the goal of producing specialists who acquires the high degree of competence to provide laboratory-based diagnosis of illness to the patients. After completion of this course, graduates are expected to obtain a general acquaintance of basic principles and techniques to understand and interpret clinical data in related research fields like immunopathology, electron microscopy, histo-chemistry, use of radioisotopes in allied medicine, tissue culture, cytogenetics and other relevant research and development techniques implemented in pathology.
