Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group (40% in the case of SC/ST candidates). The candidate must have passed in English as a compulsory subject. The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before on or before 31st December of the year MBBS admission.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking MBBS admission must qualify in NEET UG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). Qualified candidates shall be called for MBBS admission counselling in the order of merit. Based on the availability of seats, candidates will be allotted MBBS seat.

Course Details

Kasturba Medical College, Manipal has a curriculum: Seminars for postgraduates, clinical case presentation, journal club presentation, bench-side diagnostic training, emergency stat lab posting, research mentoring, didactic lectures, self-directed learning modules, team-based learning sessions, problem solving session, interactive tests, one-on-one discussions. Foreign students, except who has CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Education Board qualifications, should obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi to equate their foreign qualifications to the 10+2 of India. This graduation course starts with the basic pre and para-clinical subjects like anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology and pharmacology along with hands-on training in the wards and outpatient departments. Graduates will get chance to directly interact with patients through the tenure of this course.
