Course Details
Kasturba Medical College offers 2-year postgraduate diploma in anaesthesiology with an objective of making sure that the graduates develop skills in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains as they are important for anaesthesiologists to work as team in various clinical and critical situations in operative theatres and outside the operative theatres. Students will be able to demonstrate following at the end of this course. Theoretically, the students will learn applied anatomy and physiology, hematology, muscle function, cardiovascular physiology, kidney and body fluids, liver, respiration, nervous system, gastrointestinal tract, and other related organ systems. Faculty members give thorough practical exposure on advanced anesthesiological techniques.
