Course Details

In the year 2001, the Information Science Engineering was started at CIT, with 60 students of input, which is enhanced to 90 in the academic year 2002 and to 120 in the year 2006. The department shows continuous growth in academic excellence since from its establishment and at present, the department offers only Engineering degree in Information Science. The department has well-experienced and highly qualified faculty members to impart knowledge to the students. The department has the fine-art infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories etc. The department conducts conferences, seminars, and workshops regularly for the students and faculty members. The main aim of the department is to remove the gap between academics and industry requirement. To achieve this the department organizes National Conference in 2008 and in 2005, faculty development program, the short-term course of web programming, seminars and workshops for students and faculty members.
