Candidate must have completed B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering. In Civil with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate of any recognized university / Institution or AMIE or any other qualification recognized as equivalent and candidates must have appeared for GATE/ PGCET or any other equivalent examination conducted by recognized institute/ agency

Admission is based on rank in GATE/ PGCET and all the short-listed candidates are required to appear for the admission selection process at the campus.
Course Details
Structural Engineering is a sub-division of civil engineering.Strucural Engineering deals with applied physical laws and the performance of different materials and geometrics. The role of structural engineers is to understand, predict, and calculate the strength, stability and rigidity of built structures. They are also involved in the design of machinery, medical equipment, vehicles etc. Structural Engineering includes Earthquake engineering, Fire Engineering, Roof Engineering, Tower Engineering and Wind engineering. Some of the civil structural engineering work includes Bridges, Damns, Earth Quakes, Pipelines, Power stations, tunnels, Waterways, Roads, Water and waste water infrastructure etc.
