Eligibility Criteria

candidate must have passed B.E. / B.Tech examinations in relevant fields of VTU or any other recognized university with the minimum of 50% aggregate and those candidates who belong to SC/ST must have 45% of the aggregate marks in the examinations.

The selection depends on the rank scored in PGCET. GATE qualified candidates get first preference during the selection.

Course Details

Master's in Department of Mechanical Engineering was entrenched in the year 2002 with 18 students of input. The Visvesvaraya Technological University recognizes this department as a research center. The active Product Development Cell is there in the department which is engaged in enlargement of new commodities in the area of textile machines, machine tools, composites etc.

Masters of the institute get placed in noted industries as well as in the research institutions which are internationally recognized.
