Eligibility Criteria

Must have 12th or equivalent examination certificate with maths, chemistry, and Physics as compulsory, and anyone of Bio-Technology/ Biology/Computer Science/ Electronics as optional, and English as a language.

Admission Guidelines

Admission is based on rank attained in COMED-K entrance exam followed by counselling or management quota.

Course Details

Mechanical Engineering Department was entrenched in the year 1979 with the input of 60 members of students for UG courses. Later, the input was increased to 120 students because of the requirement from the industries and research institutions. Post-graduation program leads to Master degree in the Machine Design and it was initiated in the academic year 2002 with the input of 18 students. The Department is also having Product Development and Cell Research space.

The Mechanical Department is continuously trying and working hard to meet excellence in teaching, industrial and academic research and also works as a consultancy by giving service to the society. The research works basically focuses on Alternative fuels, Alternative energies, and Composites. Institute aims to give the student, a perfect combination of practical and intellectual experiences, which guide them to serve our society and contribute to a lot of requirements. At the end of the degree, students are ready for campus recruitment as a mechanical engineer and also for the post-graduation in mechanical engineering.
