    Course Details

    • The programme will offer twelve core courses of four credits each and six open electives of four credits each. A total of 18 courses have to be completed (72 credits) to secure the degree. The core courses under the parent programme will be offered in a staggered manner trimester wise with three in the first trimester, two each in the second to fifth semesters and one (dissertation) in the final trimester. The open electives will be offered in a reverse manner with none in the first trimester and one each in trimester’s two to five and two in the final trimester. Candidates can take electives offered by any of the five programmes. However, they are not permitted to take more than two electives offered by one programme including their parent programme. The total number of electives offered in second trimester will be 5 if each programme offers one each. This means that every candidate in any of the programmes will have 5 electives to choose from.
