Eligibility	Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the Postgraduate level examination with an aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Economics from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 55% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far. Students writing their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply.
Admission Procedure	Admission procedure includes Entrance test and personal interview. Entrance test is a written test in Analytical skills and subject specific knowledge. and assessment of past performance in class 10, class 12 undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree level and the research proposal during the Personal Interview. The selected candidates must process admission at Office of Admissions, Christ University Main Campus, as per the stipulated date and time mentioned in offer of admission card / by

The Master of Philosophy in Economics is a one year program designed and well-substantiated for smooth transition into advanced research including doctoral level (PhD), and is suitable for academia, researchers and corporate associates alike.
