Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) from any recognised Board in India. Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent.
It is compulsory to have studied any two subjects (Computer Science, Maths and Electronics) at Class XII level. Candidates writing the +2 examinations may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Admission Guidelines
Admission procedure includes Skill Assessment: The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning and Personal interview: Assessment of past performance in class 10 and class 11/12 during personal interview. Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the “Application Status” link on the University website. Department of Computer Science of Christ University strives to shape outstanding computer professionals with ethical and human values to reshape nations destiny. The training imparted aims to prepare young minds for the challenging opportunities in the IT industry with a global awareness rooted in the Indian soil, nourished and supported by experts in the field. The course enables the students to develop a respectable intellectual level seeking to expose the various concepts in Mathematics. It also aims at enhancing the students reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. Computer Science, Mathematics and Electronics (CME) as a second combination was started in the year 1999. The student strength has grown to 350 with five faculty members. The department aims at setting a benchmark in education in the field of electronics.
