Course Details
- MS in obstetrics and gynaecology offered at Kasturba Medical College is a 3-year program with objective of providing quality education in maternal care in the management of diagnosis of antenatal, intra and post-natal periods of normal and abnormal pregnancies. In this practical-oriented postgraduate course in obstetrics and gynaecology, graduates will learn about venipuncture, amniotomy, episiotomy, c-sections and related advanced topics. During the tenure of this course, students will be encouraged to participate in clinical case discussions, seminars, weekly and monthly statistical meetings, mortality meetings, interdepartmental meetings with radiology and paediatrics, and other external and internal guest lectures as a part of curriculum.
