Eligibility General Category: Foreign and Indian nationals with OCI/PIO cards are eligible for admissions under general category. Eligibility, Selection, and admission to M.S., M.D & PhD Courses is according to the prevailing rules of the Medical Council of India, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and COMED-K.
Admission Procedure
  • Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree from MCI recognized institution. Candidates must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination.

Course Details

  • MD in radiotherapy is a 3-year postgraduate program offered at Kasturba Medical College with the objective of creating professionals who have better understanding on cancer therapy and ability to control cell growth by using radiation technology. During the course, the students will also be given training on understanding side effects of using radiation therapy like: Acute side effects, late side effects, cumulative side effects, effects on reproduction, and effects of radiation on vital organ systems. After completion of this course, the graduates can work in breast cancer and other forms of cancers.
