  • Therapy using radiation such as x-rays, gamma rays, electron beams, protons in treating cancers or damaging the cancer cells to inhibit their proliferation is called the radiotherapy. Kasturba Medical College and Hospital offers this 3-year postgraduate degree with broad goals of training the graduates and to provide comprehensive cancer care and to participate in research and development of this speciality. Students will be given thorough knowledge on radiobiology, radiation physics, clinical radiotherapy, and even statistical basis for planning and interpretation of clinical trials.
