- This PG program is an innovative program.It mainly focused on the recent changes made in the fields of computer science and structural engineering. This combination gives an engineer with the flexibility and freedom for an understanding of behaviour of the structure with loading uncertainties and geometric and material non-linearity. The students with civil engineering background havejoined this program. This course provides excellent basic fundamentals of structural engineering subjects. The course also engages in a brief study of computer science subjects such as databases, programming, visualization, graphics etc. A deep knowledge of computational methods and mathematical modelling in the areas of static and dynamic analysis, non-linearity of structures is provided by this course. It also has computer-aided design including optimization and visualization methods.
