Course Details
- The department was established Right from the inauguration of the college in 1962. The department offersvarious programs they are B.E., M.Sc. inengineering affiliated to VTU. Also, the department is affiliated for Ph.D. program with Mysore University and Kuvempu University. The department faculty members published nearly 100 research papers in various national &international journals and technical conferences. The department has an aimof,dynamic teaching-learning, giving quality education, hands-on expertsto help the students to shape their over-all personality. The department with its group of faculty members, well-equipped labs, required software and hardware facilities, offers to improve the learning skills of the students and also produce worthy researchers by providing doctoral research program. The current annual inputis 40 students from all parts of India. The 1:11 is the staff to student ratio.Presently, there are four faculty members holding a Ph.D. obtained from IITs and IISc. The department organizes industrial visits, technical seminars by experts from industrial areas and from other institutes to create a gap between syllabus and current development issues.
