The Oxford College of Hotel Management is one of the leading colleges in Hospitality Sector established in 1994 offering bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Masters in Tourism Administration. It is affiliated to Bangalore University and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. It aims at developing global leaders in hospitality and tourism by providing high quality education, personal grooming, effective communication skill, innovative training methods to meet global business challenges. It adopts teaching method of both theory, practical and through industry exposure. College meets regional, National and International educational needs and professionalism in management by providing learner cantered education. Each student is assigned an academic advisor who does counseling, academic supervision and ensures all college rules and regulation is followed by students. College has hi-tech well equipped training kitchen with Bakery and confectionary section for all practical training purpose.

Oxford institute provides transportation facility for students from far off part of the city. Separate hostel facility is provided for for girls and boys with around 500 rooms. College also has a canteen with hygienic nutritious food, Sports centre. It encourages students in extracurricular activities, creates awareness about health and hygiene by organizing lecture class, conducts health camps, blood donation camps and celebrates world health day, World Red Cross day etc and NSS activities. Scholarship and prizes are offered for merit students and fee structure is in par with other recognized colleges and management quota seats are also available for admission.

Separate Placement cell which provides training in Vegetable Carving workshop, Human Resource Management etc, It takes care of placement service and helps in placing students in top resorts, hotels, facilities and event management companies, airways and travel agencies. Students passed out from this college have been placed in 5 star hotels like Taj, Oberai, ITC, Hyatt, SOTC etc.
