S S Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center offers MBBS course. It also offers MD course in Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine.

Each hostel has a Warden from the teaching faculty of the colleges who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of building, allotment of rooms etc. The campus has sports facilities like tennis court, Badminton court, cricket field etc. The college runs buses for commuting students from the hostels to the hospital and the other peripheral rural health canters for the purposes of teaching and training programmes.
