Eligibility Criteria

Admission shall be open to the candidates who have passed in 10+2 as a qualifying examination with not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of degree examination.

This department was started in 1989 with a mission to provide students with a life-centric holistic education in science and technology. The department regularly organizes community development programmes like dengue awareness programme, blood grouping directory, and other innovative activities. This department has 2 well-equipped laboratories and an inoculation lab to facilitate programme work and research activities by students and staff members.
