Admission shall be open to the candidates who have passed in 10+2 as a qualifying examination with not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of degree examination.

Course Details
Department of Biotechnology was established in 2002 with a goal to create academic and research orientation among the graduates with high-end skills. The department has MoU and industry linkages with Biozeen Ltd. The credit courses offered by the department are “Techniques in Plant Tissue Culture, Animal Tissue Culture, and Basics in Clinical Research in association with Leads Clinical Research Private Ltd., This 3-year graduation programme has been structured into 6 semesters under the recognition of UGC. Primary research activities taking place in the department are: Molecular biology, plant tissue culture, and microbiology.
